The crisp October air filled our lungs as we made our way to Sin and Redemption, a bar right across the street from our first destination, The AGO. We’d been planning for a while now to go to Nuit Blanche, the all-night contemporary art festival that turns Downtown Toronto into a festival of magic every year. All accounted for, we went to the AGO, stopping along the way to view an art piece extending out from a building opposite it, and began to get lost in the wonderful night.
From there, we headed to OCAD, and then various installations dotted around the city. We steeped ourselves in the centuries old culture of a family that moved here a generation ago, got up close and personal with the wildlife of Toronto, watched a wrestling match standing in the first row, and on and on the night went.
It was a truly special experience that will be remembered for years to come, and though we wrapped up our tour late into the night at Stackt market, we had merely scratched the surface of everything on offer.
